Deployment.
THE AGILE™ is designed for immediate deployment at the point of injury — by a single operator, without tools, in under 30 seconds. The orientation icon at the head end ensures correct positioning even in low-light conditions.
Remove THE AGILE™ from the multifunctional Cordura gear bag. The system is secured with a Velcro strap in a compressed roll format — 20 × 45 cm, 2.5 kg. The gear bag itself can be attached to the evacuation bag via paracord or used separately for medical waste.
Release the Velcro strap and shake out the system with one hand. THE AGILE™ unfolds to full size (235 × 106 cm) in one motion. The large orientation icon at the head end ensures correct positioning at a glance — critical in low-light or high-stress situations.
Place the system flat on the ground with the white interior facing up. Position the casualty on the cross-hatch webbing base — the tubular webbing provides an immediate litter function. The system accommodates spine boards, vacuum mattresses, and is compatible with NATO sleeping bag systems.
Close the full-length SEAL zipper (Pair 01) along both sides of the system. The hood with elastic hem seals tightly around the casualty’s face. The system is now thermally sealed — the THERMARMOUR® Xtreme insulation immediately begins retaining up to 95% of radiated body heat.
All four zipper pairs remain accessible with the system sealed. Four colour-coded zip pairs allow targeted treatment access without unsealing the system. The casualty can remain inside throughout DCR/DCS.
Use the 8 long rescue loops for extraction. THE AGILE™ supports 2-person and 4-person carry configurations. The cross-hatch tubular webbing base (EN 565, 20 kN, tested to 460 kg) provides a stable litter platform for extraction over rough terrain, through doorways, and for CASEVAC/MEDEVAC loading.
Access.
THE AGILE™ supports all six primary TCCC treatment zones without removing the casualty from the system. The MARCH Checklist™ is mounted inside over the chest area — waterproof, writable, and detachable for rapid handover.
Access via DRAIN zipper (Pair 03) — bilateral access for tourniquet application, junctional haemorrhage control, and wound packing. The white interior immediately shows blood and fluid loss for fast assessment.
The full-length SEAL zipper (Pair 01) opens from head to toe for complete airway access. The hood with elastic hem seals around the face while allowing head positioning and airway management.
Bilateral chest access via NDC zipper (Pair 02) — positioned for needle decompression, chest seal placement, and thoracic interventions. No system removal required. Resealable after each procedure.
IV cannulation and intraosseous access via IV·IO zipper (Pair 04). Dual function: fluid administration and active warming adjunct insertion (HPK, Ready-Heat). Maintains thermal seal during treatment.
The core function of THE AGILE™. THERMARMOUR® Xtreme retains up to 95% of radiated body heat when sealed. Active warming adjuncts (HPK, Ready-Heat blankets) insert via the IV·IO zipper without breaking the thermal envelope.
The laminated MARCH Checklist™ is mounted inside the system over the chest area. Waterproof and writable — record all interventions directly on the checklist. Detachable for immediate handover at the point of care transfer (CRM).
Reuse.
THE AGILE™ is designed for rapid redeployment. The wipeable inner surface, replaceable protective liner, and washable THERMARMOUR® Xtreme material enable safe reuse after visual inspection.
Replacement
The protective liner (70 × 100 cm) is the primary hygiene barrier. It is cushioning, liquid-absorbent, and fixed with Velcro — remove and replace in seconds for the next casualty. Always replace the liner between uses. Replacement liners are available separately.

Inspect
The white liquid-repellent inner surface is wipeable with standard disinfectant wipes. Inspect for tears, zipper damage, or contamination. The white colour assists visual inspection — any residual fluid or damage is immediately visible against the white background.

Washable
THERMARMOUR® Xtreme laminate is fully washable and sustainable — reusable multiple times after visual inspection. After washing, check all zipper functionality, webbing integrity, and handle stitching. Fully recyclable at end of service life.

Compatibility.
THE AGILE™ is designed for seamless integration with standard military and EMS equipment. All accessories and compatible systems are field-proven for CASEVAC and MEDEVAC operations.
Ready-Heat chemical warming blankets insert via the IV·IO zipper for active warming support. Compatible with the full system sealed — the casualty does not need to be exposed during insertion.
Standard military Rollmat and Therm-a-Rest™ sleeping mats fit inside THE AGILE™ for ground insulation in Arctic and subarctic environments. Creates an additional NATO-standard BURRITO wrap configuration for extreme cold.
THE AGILE™ is sized to accommodate a standard vacuum mattress inside the system — critical for spinal immobilisation during CASEVAC. The 235 × 106 cm interior provides sufficient space without compression.
The optional THERMARMOUR® laminate poncho supplements hypothermia prevention both inside and outside the evacuation bag. Particularly suited as a thermal cover for limbs in Arctic/subarctic environments during tourniquet application or conversion.
The multifunctional Cordura gear bag is fully MOLLE/PALS compatible — attaches to standard patrol packs, chest rigs, and vehicle mounting systems. Paracord secured to the evacuation bag during operations to prevent separation.
